Ok I’m not even going to intro this stupid week. Let’s just get into it…
Princess M (PM) vs. Deep Space Niners (DSN)
It seems like every week DSN’s opponents post a solid score yet each and every week he just continues to outpace his rival, boosted yet again by the return of his #1 draft pick in McCaffrey. It was a close shootout up until PM had a wide receiver leave nine much needed points unaccounted for.
DSN (8-3) 136.35 – PM (6-5) 122.18
Thai Chili (TC) vs. Sunday Funday (SF)
The battle of the housemates actually provided quite the spectacle in Week 11 with both managers dropping projections early at the start of Sunday’s games. SF began to creep away later in the day, but TC would have one last card left to play in the form of wide receiver Chris Godwin. At the start of Monday’s fiesta, it looked as if Godwin awoke and chose violence but had quite possible blew his load too early and wasn’t able to keep the points accumulation going. The matchup came down to the wire with SF eeking out a victory over her roommate and new landlord. I’m sure there won’t be any pettiness over this in the new house….no none at all.
SF (7-4) 113.79 – TC (3-8) 112.01
Nino De Oro (NDO) vs. Darwin’s Law (DL)
There really isn’t much to say other than what a fucking blowout. To be fair NDO looked like he was up against the ropes at one point with his defense actually posting a negative score, but a wide receiver and running back would put the team on they back and carry NDO to the win. NDO had a chance to break 200 points, which hasn’t happened yet this season, but left 30+ points on his bench in the form of the New England defense. DL still nursing the loss of his all star running back and points scorer will have to look to waivers to see if there’s any chance at redemption.
NDO (6-5) 154.08 – DL (5-6) 82.85
Drunken Avengers (DA) vs. MFFGA (douche)
If “meh” was a matchup, this was it. there really wasn’t much that happened other than Davante Adams scoring 26 points and really that was just enough for DA to take home the win at the end of the weekend. It was a forget it type of week for both managers who are now looking to get all the points they can heading into Week 12.
DA (8-3) 102.49 – MFFGA (6-5) 80.47
Saquan Deez Nuts (SDN) vs. Lt. Dan (LD)
Remember what I posted literal moments ago as I’m writing these recaps back to back? SDN packaged a trade deal with LD which included a not entirely healthy Saquon Barkley for a fully healthy Jonathan Taylor and some draft picks? Yea LD took that deal, hence the title of this weeks post. What did she get for it? Jonathan Taylor single handedly posting 52 points during his game…..with his new manager. Advised by other managers not to take the trade, and league votes against the trade, LD threw all caution to the wind and accepted the deal. Clearly, she can’t be trusted to make any decisions at this point and we’re all wondering when we need to put her in an institution. To make matters worse, had LD kept Taylor and potentially won, she would have still been in last place BUT she would’ve have been tied with SDN on record. All she would have needed was a win against her week 12 opponent in DA who has been struggling and she could have put the commish firmly in last place. Nope, instead she bent over like the Jerry worm when ordered by Beth.
SDN (4-7) 150.29 – LD (2-9) 107.18
Well I’m caught up and frankly this has been exhausting agreeing to do this every single week. Stay tuned as we roll into week 12 and the playoffs draw ever closer!
