It’s been rather quiet amongst the league as of late and therefore I took some time off writing these reviews as frankly, I didn’t realize how exhausting belittling your friends every single week is. It really takes a toll on the mental health when you keep beathing them up and they just want more. I’m going to sum this up in a recap as the time of writing this I also haven’t written week 16’s review and that just finished the other day. Shall we begin?
Week 12:
Drunken Avengers walked all over Lt. Dan in a matchup that became somewhat close towards the end. Saquan Deez Nuts reclaimed the pants in the relationship by stomping his wife’s team into oblivion, Deep Space Niners had a poor performance but anything will do when you opponent in Thai Chili scores less than 80 points. Darwin’s Law posted one of their best scores of the season while coasting past MFFGA in a lop sided boxing match. Lastly, Nino De Oro and Sunday funday went toe to toe seemingly trying to score less points than each but ultimately NDO would hold on to take home the win. If I’m not mistaken at this point Drunken Avengers and Deep Space Niners clinched their playoff spots either this weekend or next.
Week 13:
Underdog weekend commenced with Lt. Dan topping MFFGA in dominant fashion to avenger her earlier season loss. Thai Chili would join the winner’s circle cruising past Saquan Deez Nuts, while Princess M would celebrate with the lady’s after toppling Drunken Avengers in a surprise upset. This circle of caddy bitches would be joined by none other than Darwin’s Law (fitting) who swept Sunday Funday right off their feet and out the window. The only favorite to walk away unbloodied was Deep Space Niners who hard fought with Nino De Oro all weekend but arrived the victor come Tuesday morning.
Week 14:
Drunken Avengers would see a back to back weekend of L’s as Thai Chili somehow pulled out a 140+ point game desperately trying to claw into the playoff spot. Nino De Oro would put up a 130+ point game for the second weekend in a row and for the second weekend in a row, lose; this time to Saquan Deez Nuts. Princess M would barely hang on against Lt. Dan who couldn’t finish the job. Deep Space Niners would see engine failure followed by hull damage after losing to Darwin’s Law. The ex-roommate frackus would see Sunday Funday annihlating MFFGA who never stood a chance.
Week 15:
The final weekend of the regular season drew near, inevitable like the passage of time. Six managers would see their spots clinched at the end of Week 14 so the only games that mattered were Thai Chili vs. Lt. Dan and MFFGA vs. Princess M. If MFFGA lost and TC won, TC would be in the playoffs. If MFFGA won they would be in the playoffs. TC seemed to have an easy path only needed to outscore the lowly Lt. Dan who was floundering on the deck gasping for air like a fish at this point in the season, but with her last gulp of oxygen, and one final wriggle, LD tail slapped TC right across the face in a stunning move to the rest of the league. MFFGA would go on to take the win against PM as well securing the final playoff positions. Drunken Avengers, Saquan Deez Nuts, and Sunday Funday would also see W’s added to their records.
And that is a fucking wrap on the regular season bitches. Eight out of ten managers made it to the playoffs….yea I know that’ll probably change next year. Ahhhhhh the playoffs where anything can and will happen!
